Tony flying the Union Jack kite in Chicago, although today was very cold first thing, the sun was shining and there was a breeze, so we flew the flag down by Navy Pier.
This afternoon we viewed Chicago from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Tower, it is not often your ears pop in a lift but this one takes you from ground level to the Observatory in 40 secs, it is the fastest lift in the world! The views were amazing and gave us an idea of the size of the city, everyone is given a headset with the city described by David Schwimmer. Not only could we see Chicago but we could see a long way across Lake Michigan and across to Gary which is in Indiana state.
